SET SAIL

A scalloped wave of vibrant hot pink anchors this serene corner of our King’s Road showroom, where We Sailed Away—a printed fabric from the Fogo Island 2023/2024 installation - cascades at the window. Paired with natural timber, peach-toned walls, and Nordic-inspired prints, the scene evokes the quiet romance of a coastal cabin.

FOGO ISLAND

Nestled within the Labrador Current, Fogo Island occupies one of Earth’s most remote corners, a place of raw beauty and serene solitude. At the helm of this collaboration with the Fogo Island team is Zita Cobb, a born and raised eighth-generation Fogo Islander. Following the collapse of the cod fishery due to excessive overfishing by large corporations, Zita was forced to leave the island. After a remarkably successful career in high-tech, she returned home and established Shorefast, the parent charity behind Fogo Island Inn, Fogo Island Workshops, and Fogo Island Fish. Inspired by the island's quilting, boat building, and fishing heritage, the contemporary Fogo Island Inn is truly captivating, both otherworldly and yet intimately connected to its surroundings. Our collection together reflects the spirit of Fogo Island through thoughtful design grounded in place, culture, and purpose
